Dena and Ric Mentor are in their 70s and in need of some safer steps leading up to their porch, and new top rails and rings. Since last fall, the couple has fostered three of their four great-grandchildren with only some emergency funds from the state (they are not licensed foster care providers), relying on social security income and donations from family members and area food kitchens. They now only have one child, 15 months old, and would like to create a place for home to safely play on their porch. Dena recently was in the hospital with pneumonia and broken ribs from a fall, and going to dialysis three times a week! Some light gardening would be appreciated and power washing of their trailer would help spruce things up. If time allows, they also wish to have carpeting removed and vinyl flooring laid down throughout their mobile home, as the carpet is old.
